Hi all,
A message from coach Henry! The ECB is allowing us to train in small groups, and to have several such groups spread around the ground, so we believe that we can now restart training as long as we adopt suitable measures.
We are going to start with Mens training (only, for the moment) next Wednesday 17th June, as a test using the grown ups as they can be most trusted to maintain social distancing, before expanding out to the other groups once we know it can be done properly.
“Training starts next Wednesday Gents. We will be starting at 6pm and finishing at 8pm. Really important we sanitise our hands at the start and end of the session. Sanitiser will be provided. The idea is that we will work in groups of five in circuits. Spending twenty minutes or so on each station and rotate around. Really important to keep the 2 metre distance. Look forward to seeing everyone at the club.
Cheers Henners”
Please can men who want to train let me know over the next few days whether you will be coming, so that we can get an idea of numbers?
We also need you to pay your subs (through Teamo) so that we can afford the additional costs involved in providing training.
Another step closer to getting some real cricket – and Charlie has been cutting the first strip of the season...
