2022: Nets booking at MBCC

Dear all,

In view of the increasing number of players wanting to use the practice nets, we are re-starting the online booking system for the nets starting today. This is to ensure that if you want to net, you can check that they are free first.

During weekdays, if the nursery is open the ground is not available until 5pm at the earliest, but subject to that weekday daytime can be booked by any member.

Process to book

Conditions of booking The conditions of booking will be as follows:

You must be a paid-up member of the club to book the nets.
· Guests are only allowed with club members.
· External private coaches are only permitted provided the booking is by and for a club member.
· If you suffer an injury, it is your own/your partner’s responsibility to arrange appropriate medical assistance.
· No spikes to be worn in nets.
· All under-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
· We reserve the right to refuse future bookings (without refund of your subs) if you persistently fail to follow the recommended guidelines.
· We reserve the right to cancel the booking if the weather is unsuitable.
· If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can offer the slot to someone else.
· Bring your own playing/training equipment including balls and stumps.
· No spitting.
· As always, the health and safety of participants is paramount - please ensure those using the nets minimise the risk of injury.
· You must not bat against hard balls unless wearing full appropriate protective equipment (helmet, gloves, pads, box, etc).
· At the end of your allocated 50 minutes, please clear up and move away in good time to let the next people start their session.
· Do not leave private property behind.
