Welcome to Maidenhead and Bray Cricket Club's (MBCC) Privacy Policy. This Policy sets out how MBCC handles data which identifies you. MBCC is the data controller and responsible for your personal data. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

It is important that we have the most up to date information. If your information changes in any way, please let us know as soon as possible.

Information gathered and its use

We receive and store any information that you enter onto our website, or give us in any other way, or is provided by you when giving us feedback. This may include:

  • Your family relationships (e.g. relationships between parents and colts)
  • Any health information provided by you to us
  • Your availability and whereabouts on training and match days
  • Any cricketing or other sporting experience, statistics or relevant qualifications (for example first aid, coaching or umpiring qualifications)
  • The above may also apply in relation to your children if they are members
  • Whether you have paid your membership fees or match fees
  • Any financial details that appear in our bank records, such as the paying account details
  • Necessary business details in relation to goods and services received by us from outside organisations, people or businesses

Subject to the information retained by our bank and membership database provider,, we do not deliberately retain any financial information, e.g. we do not retain card details used to pay fees.

How we use your information

We will use your contact details provided to communicate with you. We may also use your information to send you offers and news about MBCC training, matches and events. We may contact you by post, email, telephone or social media for these purposes. If you do not want to receive such communication you can opt-out by noting this on our annual membership form in our membership database or by contacting us directly. Of course, if you do not provide (or allow us to retain) contact information we will not be able to keep in communication with you.
