Changing Rooms and Showering Policy
Guidelines for Use of Changing Facilities
The following guidelines apply to adults, and children, sharing changing facilities at Maidenhead & Bray Cricket Club.
Changing and Showering Guidelines
Separate Showering Times
Adults must not shower at the same time as children using showering facilities.
Separate Changing Times
Adults should try to change at separate times to children during matches, for example when children are padding up. If children play for Open Age teams, they, and their parents, must be informed of the club's policy on changing arrangements.
Parental Consent Required
If adults and children need to share a changing facility, the club must have consent from parents that their child(ren) can share a changing room with adults in the club.
Separate Facilities for Mixed Gender Teams
Mixed gender teams must have access to separate male and female changing rooms.
No Mobile Phones
Mobile phones must not be used in changing rooms.
No Pressure to Change or Shower
If children are uncomfortable changing or showering at the club, no pressure should be placed on them to do so. Suggest instead that they may change and shower at home.
Important Reminder
These guidelines are in place to protect both children and adults. All members, parents, and visitors are expected to comply with this policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Club Safeguarding Officer.
