With the success of the 3rd XI curry night on Saturday fresh in the minds, I just wanted to get you all to put the 11th July down in the diaries for the Club Race Night run by the 2nd XI. 

This will be a great night fundraising for the club but requires everyone's participation. Tickets are £10 each and are available over the bar as always which includes food, please invite friends and family.

For those who don't know/can't remember, here's how it works:

We are running 8 races 'live' on the big screen, with race enclosure and a live tote. You place your bets and win real money if you back a winner.

All 8 races need to be sponsored - if you would like to sponsor a race the price is £50.
There are 8 horses per race, and each require an owner and a name, you can buy and name a horse for £5, during any race with your horse in it you get to watch from the owners enclosure and enjoy a glass of bubbly.

There will also be a raffle and all donations are most welcome.

Please get involved, the last race night was a roaring success and raised well over £1000 for the club contributing towards the new sight screens. Anyone wanting to buy a race and/or horse please contact our illustrious 2nd team captain Tom Wilding who will add you to the event programme.
