Welcome to Maidenhead & Bray Cricket Club. The Club is situated in the beautiful village of Bray, Berkshire, on the banks of the Thames, overlooked by the Church of St Michael. The main ground is widely acknowledged as one of the most picturesque in the country.
Records of cricket at Bray go back over 260 years. The Club is now one of the most go-ahead and lively cricket clubs in the county. We have four teams in the Morrant Thames Valley League, and six teams in the Berkshire Colts Cricket League. The senior side has won the Thames Valley League twice, and our colts sides are among the best in the county, with 6 teams playing in the 5 age groups.
We have around 250 colts, boys and girls, aged from around 6 up to 17, and some of our colts regularly play for our senior teams; we regularly provide county teams with colts players, and one has played for England colts teams. We also ensure that as many colts as possible get games during the season, with a programme of 'friendlies'. The Club is one of the few in the county with a dedicated girls section, and is the only one in Berkshire to provide cricket coaching for disabled youngsters.
We have over 20 qualified coaches, 5 qualified at Level 2. We were the first Berkshire club to be awarded Sport England’s Clubmark by the ECB.
The social side of the Club is particularly strong, with a programme of functions throughout the season. For many years the highlight of the social calendar has been 'Parkie Day', hosted by our President, Sir Michael Parkinson.
New players, supporters and their families are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome. There are excellent facilities for playing, practising, socialising and best of all you'll be part of the most progressive club in Berkshire.
Saturday 5th September was the last round of the 2009 Thames Valley League Season. The 1st XI secured the 13 points required to survive another season in the Thames Valley League division 1 with a winning draw over Tring Park, which leaves the First XI the top side in the Town. A great achievement when you consider four got relegated from the division.
The Second XI cemented their fourth position in division 4B with a 25 point win over Eversley 2's, with Saqib Quershi (70 not out) rolling back the years ably supported by birthday boy John Hewitt (51) producing one of his typical cavalier innings.
The Third XI, already promoted lasted week under the leadership of Saj Tariq for the third time in three years, eventually disposed of Newbury helped by a 141 run partnership between Milan Pandya (80*) and Barrie Wykes (54).
The Fourth XI claimed the division 8B title. Already promoted they needed to win to guarantee the Championship against Amersham 3. Restricting Amersham to 224 for 6 in their 52 overs, Bray cruised past the target in the 35th over, Phil Cowell top scoring with 31.
Two sides promoted, two sides mid table, not a bad season!!!

A tough game for the Under 13's
As expected, we had an extremely tough game last night but as I said after the game, I actually thought that the overall performance of the boys was better than when we won on Sunday.
First Round Cup Victory
Many congratulations to the team for yesterday's excellent team performance and thrilling win against Boyne Hill in the first round of cup.
Boyne Hill batted first and were restricted to 100-8 with some tight bowling and good fielding.
MBCC Under 9's off to a flyer
Under a leaden sky and the shadow of Windsor Castle M&BCC Under 9s got their season off to a great start with a convincing win by 50 runs over Windsor.

The season starts in earnest with the Colts Registration Evening on Friday 23rd followed by a three way header against Windsor the following day.The First XI and Third XI away and the Second XI at home.
The ground is looking in fine shape after one of the hardest winters in many years.
Colts Indoor Coaching 2010
I have finally got an agreement with Ridgeway School, The Thicket, Maidenhead to run 4 nets sessions between now and the end of April. The first session starting this Saturday 13th March from 10.30am to 11.30am.
The other session are on 27th March, 17th April and the 24th April all starting at 10.30 am.
All boys and girls welcome and no previous cricketing experience needed.
Age groups catered for; from 6 years to Under 12 age groups.

Chairman’s Report
What a good season we had had on the pitch!!!!!!
We have finally overcome North Maidenhead and are now the premier club in the town with the 1st XI finishing a creditable 6th on their return to the 1st Division of the Thames Valley League. Although the 2nd XI had to chop and change the team throughout the season they managed to finish 4th in Div. 4. Next season Tommy is looking for promotion to get closer to the 1st’s to help with the flow of players between.......
