MBCC Third XI V's Chiswick & Latymer 4 10/05/2008 (Away)

The Match to be played on Sat 10 May 2008

Maidenhead & Bray 3rds travelled to Chiswick on the opening day of the season to record a convincing 6 wicket win over Chiswick & Latymer 4ths.

Winning the toss and selecting to bat on a very hot and humid afternoon Chiswick & Latymer's openers put on 50 runs without loss in the first 10 overs.

The Match to be played on Sat 17 May 2008

Maidenhead and Bray 3XI proved too strong for Farnham Common 3 on Saturday. Bray won the toss and elected to bat in overcast conditions.

MBCC Third XI V's Datchet 3 24/05/2008 (Away)

The Match to be played on Sat 24 May 2008

After a convincing start to the season the past 2 weeks, Maidenhead & Bray 3rd XI lined themselves up for Datchet 3rd XI.

The toss was won by Bray and they elected to bat on a good track. The Datchet opening bowlers bowled well and made life difficult for the Bray openers to score.

Top of the League Maidenhead and Bray 3rds entertained Chesham at home for their fourth game of the season. With the midweek weather causing havoc it was always going to be an important toss to win. However skipper Saj Tariq was gald when asked to field after losing the toss.

M&BCC 3XI travelled to Harefield on Saturday. This was a big game as Harefield were in third spot and pushing for the top spot. Bray lost the toss and were asked to bat.

An outstanding spell of swing bowling from Sagir Ahmed helped Maidenhead and Bray 3rd beat Farnham Royals 3.
Ahmed bowled some unplayable deliveries, swinging the ball both ways to destroy Farnham Royals top order as they replied to Brays first innings total of 188 all out.
