MBCC versus Hurst 12/05/2008

Maidenhead & Bray Under 13's started their defence of the Julian Cup with a convincing win over Hurst on a lovely evening in Bray on Monday.

Faced with accurate bowling throughout their innings, Hurst always found runs hard to come by and managed 36 for 4 from their 16 overs. William O'Shea and Karan Soni bowled fast and straight and, backed up by tigerish fielding, imposed a stranglehold that the Bray team maintained till the end.

Maidenhead & Bray approached their own innings positively and a brutal 23 from Monty Bampfield, with 5 boundaries, took them past their target within just 4 overs
