MBCC Under 13's Hurricanes Versus Twyford and Ruscombe 8/06/200

Maidenhead & Bray Under 13 Hurricanes continued their unbeaten run with a convincing win in the league at Twyford & Ruscombe on Sunday.
On a tricky, green wicket and faced by some fine opening bowling, Bray were soon in trouble at 0 for 2 in the opening over, but excellent batting from Alex Hess (30 retired) and Jamie Odell ( )led the recovery.
Although Twyford's fielders stuck to their task and never let Bray get away, solid batting down the order from Bradley Upton, Henry Parker and Max Penn ensured that the visitors reached a competitive total of 94 for 6 off their 20 overs.

In reply, Twyford were undone by some hostile bowling by Jamie Odell (4 wickets) and Monty Bampfield (3 wickets) and wickets fell regularly. The fielding was also impressive, led by a brilliant catch by Simon Wykes and excellent work behind the stumps by Hess. Further wickets from Sachin Moudgil and Matt Balmer sealed Twyford's fate as they were bowled out for 19, resulting in a win for Maidenhead & Bray by 75 runs.
