MBCC Under 13's Hurricanes Versus Pinkneys Green 4/05/2008

Maidenhead & Bray Under 13 Hurricanes opened their league season with a home match against Pinkneys Green, for whom this was their first season in the competition. Unfortunately for the visitors, Bray were not in generous mood and they gave Pinkneys Green no time to find their feet.
With Maidenhead & Bray batting first, Monty Bampfield, Simon Wykes, Cameron Jacobsen and Alex Hess all passed 30 before retiring, and Jamie Odell and Vishal Gossain punished the attack further at the end. The innings finally closed after 20 overs on a formidable 187 for 2.

In reply, Pinkneys Green found it difficult against Bray's experienced bowling attack. Karan Soni, Brad Upton and Sachin Moudgil all took wickets and restricted the visitors to 30 for 9, ensuring a convincing first win of the season by 157 runs.
