MBCC Under 11's Hurricanes Versus Wokingham 3/06/2008

The rearranged match against Wokingham was a fantastic game of cricket and all the boys involved should consider themselves fortunate to have played in such a great game.Wokingham batted first and scored 93-4 with Sam Hooper bowling particularly well in taking 2-3 and Charlie Flower also bowling very well in his first game for the team. The rest of the bowling was tight and although there were a few too many wides and some lapses in the field the target seemed a challenging but achievable one. When M&B batted there were excellent contributions from Sam Hooper 25 Not Out and Joe Sanders and consistent batting down the order. The match was always tight and it came down to the last ball which Charlie Nadeau hit for four to tie the match with M&B also closing on 93-4. A fantastic game of cricket, enjoyed by all the players and spectators.
