MBCC Under 11's Hurricanes Versus Kidmore End 29/06/2008

The final league game of the season gave us an opportunity to play a couple of our U9 boys, Tom Prentis and Nishi Desai in the U11 side that played at Kidmore End. Kidmore End batted first and scored 63-5. The bowling was consistent throughout with Alex Rae taking two wickets and both Tom Prentis and Nishil bowling extremely well in their first game. The fielding was also vastly improved from the previous game at Emmbrook.Kidmore End also had a young side and in batting second the boys scored 66-2 with Talha Sabir top scoring with 19 Not Out. This was probably our strongest overall performance of the season with good bowling supported by keen fielding and then sensible batting. The boys have come a long way since the first game against Ascot and all the players should be pleased with the improvement that they have made during the league season.
