MBCC Under 11's Hurricanes Versus Crown Wood 15/06/2008

Crown Wood fielded a strong side and batted first, scoring 126-4 with three of their top four scoring 20 or more. The M&B bowlers stuck to their task and despite a few too many wides they never let their heads drop, the team spirit was excellent and it was good to hear the encouragement from all the boys despite a tough 20 overs in the field.When M&B batted, the batting was consistent all the way down the order with good contributions from Tobias Bharucha, Will Jamieson and 25 Not Out from Cameron Upton.M&B completed their 20 overs on 86-5 losing the game by 40 runs but this was certainly the strongest bowling side that the boys have played against and something that they can learn from is that Crown Wood only conceded 8 wides in the whole of their 20 overs!!
