MBBC Under13's V's Reading 21/06/2007

Well done to the Hurricanes who last night convincingly beat the Reading Tigers. We bowled first and made hard work of bowling at the stumps. Only Matt Balmer who returned figures of 3 overs 3 for 6 did his job of making the reading batsmen play the ball. Reading ended their innings on 48 all out in 12.2 overs. Bray bowled 22 wides in this low total. Bray openers Brad Upton and Alex Hess batted confidently and progressed the score to 44 before both getting out. Bray ended the game on 49 for 3 in 9.2 overs. That means the Hurricanes are top of the table having won 5 out of 5. Onto the quarter finals next week!
