MBBC Under 9's V's Cookham Dean 29/04/2007

Maidenhead and Bray U9s got off to a great start to the season with their first two games against Cookham Dean and North Maidenhead. Bray travelled the short distance across town to face Cookham on a cold evening last Friday. Bray batted first making a total of 304 for just 2 wickets. Newcomer Sam Hooper scored 20 of the runs in his first game for the club and Liam Cook also scored well. When it came to bowling, Bray had no shortage of good bowlers, with the first 4 bowlers, Sam, Liam, Alex Rae and Cameron Upton, only bowling 1 wide between them. Cookham found runs hard to come by and reached 234 for 4 off their allotted overs. A good 70 run victory to begin the season with for Bray.
