Bray Third's, being captained for the first time by Saj Tariq took on a strong Amersham side who finished top three in the league last year. Playing away and losing the toss, Bray were asked to bat. Conditions were damp and overcast.

Week two, Bray entered the game with high expectations. Things could not be more positive. Saj Tariq had lined up a strong balanced team which on paper looked as if it was ready to take on the Windies at Lords. Instead they were to take on Royal Ascot at their Lords - the Jubilee Ground. Thanks to Charlie the ground was looking lush and the wicket excellent, and more importantly the sun was shinning.
