MBCC - Colts Under 9's Fixtures & Match Reports 2007

Maidenhead and Bray U9s got off to a great start to the season with their first two games against Cookham Dean and North Maidenhead. Bray travelled the short distance across town to face Cookham on a cold evening last Friday. Bray batted first making a total of 304 for just 2 wickets. Newcomer Sam Hooper scored 20 of the runs in his first game for the club and Liam Cook also scored well.

Bray followed up their victory against Cookham with a home game against North Maids on Tuesday. Bray found batting a bit more hard going on this occasion, with wickets falling easily. Alex Rae managed to steady the batting side by hitting four consecutive fours. Bray reached 242 for 6 and soon realised that they were going to have to bowl very well to beat the quite young N Maids team.
